### Flying Blue PDF Import
The cornerstone feature. Users download their "Activity Statement" PDF from Flying Blue and import it into SkyStatus. Azure Document Intelligence (EU region) extracts the tables and text, then SkyStatus imports it automatically, and you get an email when it is live. There is no copy-paste text import.

**Technical Capabilities:**
- Text extraction via Azure Document Intelligence
- SkyStatus reads statements in 6 languages: English, Dutch, French, German, Italian and Spanish. English, French and Dutch are read most accurately. A statement in another Flying Blue language can be uploaded and may need a manual review, which takes longer.
- Multi-currency amounts are parsed as written
- Overlap detection recognizes transactions that were imported before

**Privacy Design:**
- Your PDF is sent to Microsoft Azure Document Intelligence (EU region). Azure processes the file under a GDPR data processing agreement and does not keep it after processing.
- To verify and correct your import, SkyStatus stores the original PDF and the extracted data in private, access-controlled storage. Only you and the operator can access it.

- **All insights:** Miles available now, acquisition cost and Miles still to come, the value of your status, and recent activity filtered by Miles or by XP and UXP.
- **Investment:** what status and travel cost you, and what came back. Cost against value per cost view, cost per XP, a verdict per paid tool, and a net position sentence once your inputs are complete. Also a community figure for the share of members who buy SAF.

Flying Blue Choice Benefits are a three-tier milestone reward system for Platinum and Ultimate members. Platinum members track via XP (including rollover), Ultimate members track via UXP. At each of three thresholds (450, 600, 750), the member selects one benefit. SkyStatus provides an independent decision-support layer for these rewards, with guides in English, Dutch, French and German.

Ultimate members reaching all three levels can gift Silver + Gold + Platinum via Choice Benefits, plus the existing Ultimate preferred companion Platinum (up to 4 gifted status holders from one account).

Download your activity statement PDF from Flying Blue: Log in, go to My Account, click Activity Overview, click "More" to load all activities, then Download PDF. Upload it to SkyStatus. Azure Document Intelligence reads it, then SkyStatus imports it automatically, and you get an email when it is live. There is no copy-paste text import.

No. SkyStatus is independent and not affiliated with, endorsed by, or connected to Air France, KLM, or Flying Blue.

**Is my data safe?**
Your PDF is sent to Azure Document Intelligence (EU region, GDPR) for text extraction, and Azure does not keep it after processing. To let you verify and correct the import, SkyStatus stores the original PDF and the extracted data in private, access-controlled storage. Data is encrypted in transit, and row-level security lets each account read only its own rows. You can remove stored import files under Settings, Account and data, and request deletion of your import data at any time.
